Roo - Studio Session
Roo is an Italian Greyhound with impossibly long, skinny legs and a presence that fills the room. The second she realized the studio setup involved treats, she was all in. Sit, stand, stretch, tilt her head, strike a pose—Roo would do just about anything for a reward, and she did it all with flair.
We kept the setup simple to let Roo shine. A solid gray backdrop gave us a clean, timeless look
Cheddar - Scottsdale, AZ Cat Photographer
Every photo shoot has a personality. Some are calm and dreamy, others dramatic and moody. And then there are shoots like this one—powered entirely by a funny orange cat named Cheddar, whose energy level can best be described as “permanently set to zoom.”
From the moment I stepped into Cheddar’s house, it was clear this wasn’t going to what you’d typically expect with a kitty. Cheddar greeted me like an old friend he hadn’t seen
Roxy - Studio Session
You know how they say, “what makes you different makes you special”? Well, Roxy’s little hanging out tongue is her special quality! LOL! Isn’t it the most awesome thing ever?!? This spunky, fun Frenchie lit up the mobile studio with her love for all things food. She danced, jumped, and reached as far as she could with that big ol’ tongue of hers. We
Sadie - Studio Session
Christmas was a wrap…gosh…two months ago at this point. But that doesn’t mean it’s too late to share some of the super secret photo shoots meant to be Santa gifts back on December 25th!
This mobile studio session was actually a gift to my boyfriend’s parents. They adopted this cute rescue knowing she had a checkered past filled with abuse.
Boomerang - Sedona, AZ Pet Photographer
I’m not gonna lie, when I was contacted about photographing a Portuguese Water Dog, I was scratching my head. I’ve heard of the breed but, for the life of me, I couldn’t picture what one looked like. After doing a quick Google search, I knew this session was going to be an original!
Boomerang was just celebrating his second birthday, he’s super intelligent, and participates in
Roxy - Scottsdale, AZ Dog Photographer
This session with Roxy was a loooong time in the making. Way back in July, her mom contacted me to set up a session as a gift to her husband. Clearly at the time, temps were crazy high so we planned on a safe date in the fall. I was anticipating this session for all these months because, first, her mom was a DOLL, and second, from the description, Roxy sounded like she’d be a super
Poppy - Studio Session
Man time flies! 2025 is a wrap and sooooo much has happened since my last blog post. The biggest thing has been the addition of studio sessions to Sarah McGraw Photography! And even better, it’s a studio set up that I bring to YOU! If you have a 10’x10’ open area in your home/garage with hard floors, I can set up the lights and background. Easy peasy!
Sora - Tucson, AZ Pet Photographer
I’m a huge fan of Rotties. Like HUGE! In fact, I want to adopt one at some point and name him Barry. Oh yeah!!! That’s because they are big cuddly bears with giant handsome block heads! So Barry for bear. Makes sense in my mind. Lol!
Anyway…onto the superstar of this session that took place on a BEAUTIFUL evening down in Saguaro National Park. This is Sora!
