Ace + Annie - Phoenix, AZ Dog Photograpy

Going out on a limb here - I’d say 40% of my sessions are surprises or gifts for clients’ loved ones. I think that’s so incredibly thoughtful because, for those of us without two-legged offspring, our dogs are our babies. It’s not unusual to have sessions for families, human babies, seniors, etc, so I’m happy we’re normalizing photo shoots for our pups. In our hearts, it’s all the same and I’m here for it!

So speaking of gifts, Ace and Annie’s session was a surprise present for the boyfriend. My client and her significant other just purchased a new home together so she wanted to capture some images they could use for a gallery wall in their dining area. She snuck away with the pups to her friend’s backyard where we spent a couple hours posing with flowers, running through the putting green, and just being stinkin’ adorable. It worked out perfectly!

Needless to say, when the image reveal rolled around, her boyfriend was elated! He had NO clue this shoot happened and he was over the moon! I think he almost got a tear in his eyes. Lol!

They ended up getting 3 beautiful framed prints to fill their new home’s blank wall. I turned out so wonderful and I hope they bring smiles for years and years to come. :)
