Teeny Tercell - Phoenix, AZ Dog Photographer

Teeny Tercell is officially one—and what better way to celebrate than with a photo shoot that captured every bit of her unique, lovable personality?

Named after a character from the 1995 movie Now and Then, Teeny is just as memorable as her namesake. This beautiful mix of GSD, pittie, chow, and cattle dog brings together the best of so many worlds… and, like many complex souls, she takes a little time to warm up. She can be a bit skittish with new people, but luckily, I came prepared with the ultimate peace offering: treats.

And it worked.

Before long, Teeny decided I was worth trusting—especially if snacks were involved—and I was officially welcomed into her circle. Being allowed into that space, even for a short time, felt incredibly special.

We spent the evening close to home, wandering a neighborhood path that turned out to be the perfect backdrop for her birthday session. We paused to pose with blooming flowers, letting their soft colors frame her curious, expressive face. Between those quiet moments, Teeny let loose—running through the grass, full of energy and joy, ears bouncing with every step.

As the sun began to dip lower, the sky lit up in warm, golden tones, wrapping everything in that dreamy sunset glow. It felt like the perfect ending to a day meant just for her.

Teeny may be cautious at first, but once you’re in her world, you can see just how much love and personality she holds. I’m so honored she trusted me enough to share that with me—and to help celebrate such a big milestone in her life.

Happy first birthday, Teeny. You are so, so loved.
