Every photo shoot has a personality. Some are calm and dreamy, others dramatic and moody. And then there are shoots like this one—powered entirely by a funny orange cat named Cheddar, whose energy level can best be described as “permanently set to zoom.”

Olivia came bounding straight to me when she showed up for her shoot at the trailhead in north Scottsdale. Cuddles and treats with a stranger were the only thing on her mind. Behind that cute little Frenchie block head and gigantic smile, you would never have any idea that she was fighting mast cell tumors. And that’s how I wanted to keep it.

When your client requests cool, fun, candid shots, ya know they came to the right place! And with names like Wall-E and Wile-E, I had a feeling it was going to come naturally. And to boot…this session was with a pair of Pugs! Oh yeah!!!

Piper was kinda a life saver. Yes…she is that special.

Piper’s human mom was diagnosed with cancer about 7 years ago. As you can imagine, it was a tough time for her so she decided a little furry friend would help lift her spirits and make each day a little brighter. When she started her search, she already had the perfect dog envisioned in her mind. She wanted
