Going out on a limb here - I’d say 40% of my sessions are surprises or gifts for clients’ loved ones. I think that’s so incredibly thoughtful because, for those of us without two-legged offspring, our dogs are our babies. It’s not unusual to have sessions for families, human babies, seniors, etc, so I’m happy we’re normalizing photo shoots for our pups. In our hearts, it’s all the

Dogs are supposed to be man’s best friend, right? Well it’s funny but most of my clientele are actually women. Yeah, often times they drag along their significant others to the shoot and promise them a reward of dinner and a beer afterward. But it’s not too often I get to document just a man and his dog together. So anytime I do, it’s really special to me.

Spring is in the air and it’s not just us humans that are feeling good, getting that Vitamin D, and coming out of hibernation. Our pets are certainly digging these longer days and fresh green grass too!
