Roxy - Scottsdale, AZ Dog Photographer

This session with Roxy was a loooong time in the making. Way back in July, her mom contacted me to set up a session as a gift to her husband. Clearly at the time, temps were crazy high so we planned on a safe date in the fall. I was anticipating this session for all these months because, first, her mom was a DOLL, and second, from the description, Roxy sounded like she’d be a super fun model.

All I can say is Roxy lived up to the hype! Her mom let me know she was a little party girl and a rockstar all in one. Despite being almost 12, this Dachshund/Chihuahua/Lab/Pittie mix (right?!?) didn’t disappoint! We ventured out to an area in Northern Scottsdale to have some fun in the desert. Roxy didn’t hesitate to immediately show off her rock climbing abilities. Funny…her mom didn’t add mountain goat to the breed mix list. Hmmmm…

But anyway, the day was absolutely perfect. We captured the sparkly sunshine, an incredible sunset, and the unconditional love between Roxy and her mom and dad. So many warm and fuzzies!
