One of my big clients is Nutramax, the makers of Cosequin. For those of you that don’t know them, they develop and manufacture supplements for dogs, cats, and horses. They range from joint supplements, to skin and fur supplements, to calming supplements. Their products have helped so many pets and the testimonials I hear absolutely blow me away!

Dogs plus kids can be a tricky combo. Most people know that those are probably the two hardest genres to photograph - especially together. However, when it all works out, the images can be magical! And that’s exactly what happened during Althea’s shoot!

It’s always a huge request when a client needs a cat and dog photographed together - especially cuddly images with them hanging out at “home”. Thankfully I have a handful of models I can depend on when such a tall order comes in. Enter Jelly Bean and Eve!

I was so giddy when I found out I’d be working with Barry again! I first met this unique-looking fellow back during a commercial shoot for Calmer K9. Because he was in my model database, he was selected by another client for some portrait and action imagery they needed. I knew he wouldn’t disappoint!

Happy, playful, ball-obsessed, handsome-as-can-be! That’s Harrison in a nutshell! We spent a lovely afternoon in a park near Balboa Park chasing squirrels and tennis balls. This exuberant guy had me on my feet and made me get my steps in for the day! 😂

This may be one of the sweetest little love connections I’ve ever seen. Paul Newman is THE most handsome Golden Retriever and his human sister is equally adorable. Together, they are unstoppable! They love to kiss, cuddle, and play ball together. I dare you to look through these images and not let out an “awwwwwwww”!

When something is meant to be, it’s gonna happen. I believe whatever force is out there makes sure of that. I feel that this same fate was at play when Gracie and Luke’s mom reached out to me for an Angel session. She knew there wasn’t a lot of time left for her 13-year-old baby, Gracie. Somehow our schedules aligned perfectly, the weather cooperated, and we had a beautiful Fall session. The whole family

Dogs are supposed to be man’s best friend, right? Well it’s funny but most of my clientele are actually women. Yeah, often times they drag along their significant others to the shoot and promise them a reward of dinner and a beer afterward. But it’s not too often I get to document just a man and his dog together. So anytime I do, it’s really special to me.
