All of the pets I’m lucky enough to photograph have a super special bond with their family. But every once in a while, it just comes across so, so clearly during a shoot. This session was the epitome of displaying that love between a dog and his humans. Ty looks at his people so deeply. And behind those eyes you know he’d never leave their side.

Doing small commercial productions is always a joy for me. I get to take a company’s idea and apply my artistic vibe and style to it. And in this particular shoot, I even got to work with my friends and their dogs. That’s always an equation for some great results!

Spring is in the air and it’s not just us humans that are feeling good, getting that Vitamin D, and coming out of hibernation. Our pets are certainly digging these longer days and fresh green grass too!

Back on the night of Christmas 2020, the temps in South Carolina dipped to around 19 degrees. Yeaaaaaah…that night, Santa didn’t bring me a present. Yep, I got left a lump of coal. Numerous - and I mean numerous - busted pipes. I have finally gotten around (and it’s gotten warm enough) to fix them. No, I had no idea what I was doing. No, it wasn’t fun in the least.

But for real. I introduce you to Charlie, aka, Charlie the Muffin. And that’s exactly what he is. The most delicious, decadent, fluffy, adorable muffin you’ve ever laid eyes on. And you could eat him right up.
