Some sessions just don’t go according to plan—and those often turn out to be the most memorable.

Piper and Jasmine’s photoshoot started with gray skies and a steady drizzle. We met in the morning with hopes of soft light and lush greenery, but the original location just wasn’t delivering. The grass was sparse, and if there’s one thing to know

I seriously love working with this couple every. single. time. Meet KeenDog Training! You’ve seen them over here so many times and they have the absolute best dogs (and clients). They hire me every couple years as their pack of pups changes. This time we got to photograph Sagat, Timber, and Amelia for their social media and for artwork on their walls.

But for real. I introduce you to Charlie, aka, Charlie the Muffin. And that’s exactly what he is. The most delicious, decadent, fluffy, adorable muffin you’ve ever laid eyes on. And you could eat him right up.

Nothing beats seeing your images in print. But I tell ya what…nothing beats seeing them in print on the side of a building!!! Check out this PetSmart store in Oceanside, NY featuring a ton of my work - both inside and out.

As East Coast sessions start ramping back up, I’m reflecting back of some of my favorite images from this past Fall in Charlotte, NC. This session with Lola, Teddy, Chunk and Roxy had me and their mom running around like crazy…all while completely laughing our faces off!!! This was quite the little pack! I think each…

So if my memory serves me correctly, I'm pretty sure I squealed with delight when I meet the tiny pair of Lilly and Molly. These two couldn't be more opposite in looks when it comes to small dogs.  Lilly is a fluffy, white, curlicue Maltipoo while Molly is a dark, wiry, big-eared Pomanauze. Both are super adorable in their own rights but, put them together and they make the ultimate duo!

These ladies were unbelievable tennis ball gurus despite their small size. I was so surprised at their agility and speed! After some quick posing...(click on the image above to continue reading)

Last week I introduced you to Windi and Crickett - two pretty cool and fun Shelties that spend their time as therapy dogs in the children's hospital. A couple weeks after our session, we took a day-trip with their mom to Folly Beach, SC. Their mom has spent quite a bit of time down there and she volunteered to show me around so I could be more prepared for my upcoming beach sessions.

I tell you what. I think dogs are absolutely gorgeous and special animals. However, Karma here knows he's extra fabulous! He is a German Shorthair Pointer that can frequently be seen in the show ring. In fact, after our session together, I went to one of his shows and he won Best of Breed right then and there! Right?!?!?!

Karma's mom spends a great deal of time with him...working on structure, core, agility, etc. She taught me so much during our chats and I feel... (click on the image above to continue reading)
