Dogs are supposed to be man’s best friend, right? Well it’s funny but most of my clientele are actually women. Yeah, often times they drag along their significant others to the shoot and promise them a reward of dinner and a beer afterward. But it’s not too often I get to document just a man and his dog together. So anytime I do, it’s really special to me.

So the theme over here is Cool Pics of Cool Dogs Doing Cool Things. In Maggie’s case, she’s also Keeping Cool - as in she looooooves to chill and play in the pool. After a quick game of fetch in the yard, she breaks her mom’s rules, jumps the fence, and runs straight for the steps into that refreshing

Dogs are not only man’s best friend, but little man’s too! Ginger, a young spunky King Charles Spaniel, has a huge admirer and companion in her human brother. They love to travel to the beach together, run, cuddle, and, of course, give lots of kisses.

It’s Monday you guys! It’s the start to a new week, new beginnings, new attitude…a new sunny day. I say we start this week off on a positive note and dive right into highlighting a shoot I’ve been wanting to do since I moved to Greenville.

Some of you that follow me on Instagram may know that I live in a tiny little condo that backs up to Fluor Field - the baseball field for the Greenville Drive.

I honestly think I have written this a million times. Like every. single. time. I post about a beach session. I LOVE BEACH SESSIONS!!!! Y’all…the freedom, happiness, and just pure enjoyment that dogs have when their paws hit the sand is like nothing else! Well, maybe when they see snow for the first time - but I digress.

All of the pets I’m lucky enough to photograph have a super special bond with their family. But every once in a while, it just comes across so, so clearly during a shoot. This session was the epitome of displaying that love between a dog and his humans. Ty looks at his people so deeply. And behind those eyes you know he’d never leave their side.

Doing small commercial productions is always a joy for me. I get to take a company’s idea and apply my artistic vibe and style to it. And in this particular shoot, I even got to work with my friends and their dogs. That’s always an equation for some great results!
